Respecting user choice is crucial for maintaining trust and compliance. This guide explains how subscribers can unsubscribe from your newsletters and how you can manually manage unsubscribes through the Grigora dashboard, ensuring compliance with privacy laws like GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
User-Initiated Unsubscribe Process
When users receive your newsletter in their email inbox, they can open any newsletter they've received from your website.
At the footer of every newsletter email, there's an unsubscribe button that's automatically included in all newsletter emails sent through Grigora.
Clicking the unsubscribe button takes users to a dedicated unsubscribe confirmation page where they can confirm their unsubscribe request. After users confirm their unsubscribe request, they are immediately removed from your newsletter list and no more newsletters will be sent to their email address.
Manual Subscriber Management by Admins
Sometimes you may need to manually remove subscribers from your newsletter list.
Go to your Grigora dashboard and click on "Newsletter" in the sidebar to access your newsletter management section.
View your subscriber list where all current newsletter subscribers are displayed. Locate the subscriber you want to remove from the list and click the "Unsubscribe" button next to that subscriber's email address. The subscriber is immediately unsubscribed and will no longer receive newsletters.
Compliance and Best Practices
The unsubscribe feature in Grigora ensures that both users and admins have complete control over newsletter subscriptions, making list management easy while respecting user preferences and maintaining compliance with email marketing best practices and legal requirements.
This system provides a professional approach to newsletter management that builds trust with your audience while ensuring you meet regulatory requirements for email marketing campaigns.
